I just printed out a $3/2 Right Guard coupon today but I cant remember where! Unless it has been pulled.

Need to ask my manager our expired coupon policy again. I never had a chance to use the $5 Schick Hydro coupons!

And free body washes are always awesome!

EDIT: Thanks to Chi_Gal below, I realized I can use my Schick coupons because my store turns them on a day early!

Chi_Gal 05-29-2010 02:17 AM

Thanks Amit & Didie!

If your store turns on the next week's sale early, the Gillette/Old Spice BW will be a $1 MM. It's on sale the week of 6/6 for $3.

Does it work that way? The opposite way didn't work a week ago.

I bought Crest that had extra care bucks on the current week and the next week it was at a discounted price. No ECBs printed and I had to get them printed by CVS corporate.

The way I understand it is that the system picks the best price for you (irrespective of ECBs).

In the Crest case, the next week's sales price was better than the sales price of the current week (not accounting for the ECBs that would have made it less) so that's why the ECB didn't print.

I think buying the BW at the current week's $3 price and getting the next week's $4 ECB should work. If not, stores that turn on their sales early usually have the sales tag up too so you could always get the $4 ECB that way too.

If mrs. floyd's around, she could probably answer this better than me.

Maybe it was coupons.com? Unfortunately, I've reached my print limit.

Thanks for the confidence, but I actually have not been able to do a lot of double-dipping lately (I end up having to take my 2.5 year old AND the new 7 week old with me when I go shopping UNLESS I go on the specific day during the week that my older kiddo is in preschool) - SO to make a long story short I am a little rusty when it comes to double-dipping rules since Saturday is usually not a viable shopping day for me anymore. Sorry. :) However you are correct that if it does not print automatically (which I'm not sure if it normally does or not under this circumstance) that if the tag is up you can at least get them to print it manually.

These are terrible! Like tissue paper. I wouldn't pay $.10 for them.

It might be a good idea to do the deals on Saturday and do the week of 6/6 old spice or gillette deodarant and body wash on the saturday before the 6/13 dels. Use the b1 deodarant get body wash free and get 4 for the body wash and $1 for deodorant. There might be other coupons to go with these two maybe.

It will be just like the crest deal you will get the $3 sale price and no ECB. The computer only recognizes the price and the $3 is cheaper so that is the price you will get. The store will probably issue the ECB if the signs are up, but it will be for the $3. On the crest deal they actually returned the TP and rerang them at the higher price to issue the ECB. I am 99.9% sure we will not get overage on this deal. HTH

Also, for those that still have the $5 schick hydro coupon it expires on the 12th so if your store turns the ad on early you can get those coupons used up on the expiration date.

Is the gillette pro glide razor deal going to work out the same as the last schick razor deal, where it's in the weekly ad for 3 or more consecutive weeks as limit 1 per week, but in reality is a limit of 2 for the entire month? i checked the offer #'s on the schick deal last time, they were different each week, so that info won't reveal cvs' hidden agenda on this gillette deal. in my opinion, it is outright fraud for a retailer to advertise an item each week for 3 or more weeks when they know it won't work as advertised if someone goes in each week it's in the ad and buys it. if they advertise it 3 weeks in a row, the limit must be 1 per week as advertised, or cvs is cheating customers by advertising a promo they have no intention of honoring.

Well the limit for this week (6-6 to 6-12) is 2, not 1 as advertised. So lets hope its different this time :)

The fact that the limit is 2 instead of 1 for the week leads me to believe that Edxzxz's fear will most likely come to fruition and you will be maxed out at 2 for the rest of the month. Hopefully this isn't the case.

My friendly manager will manually print the ECB as long as I bring it to his attention prior to leaving the store :) Actually, the manual printed ECB is more valuable because it cuts into tax :woot:

Lucky u! I hate when they put those nice smartsource blinky machines out with coupons that are valuable but starts with a "9". I like to have beepless transaction at CVS. But there is always great at grocery stores to use these blinkies....5 or 9....NP! :bleh:

The $10 when you buy a $50 Sears gift card is nice if you shop at K-Mart. K-mart takes Sears gift cards.

The 2 CRT's I got today will work well this week:

$3/$15 sun care
$2/$6 body wash or bar soap

delftgirl 06-08-2010 08:31 PM

Question???

We have not had a CVS for very long in my area and I am a newbie, so I have a question. One deal for this week is:

Old Spice or Gillette body wash $4.00 Get $4 ECB Limit 1

I would like to purchase two and use:
Old Spice Body Wash B1G1F (6/30/10) V 4/18/10
$2 off any $6 body wash or soap purchase CRT

I realize I will only get one $4ECB. My question: What will the price of the second BW be? $4.00 or the non-card price? Not sure if this will work. TIA

Considering it will be free after coupon, it doesn't matter. But it will be $4 nonetheless :)

The reason I asked is sometimes cashiers will deduct the lower price rather than the higher price when I use BOGO coupons.

Oh, that would really stink - but no worries in this case.

CVSaddicted 06-09-2010 10:13 AM

Is there anywhere I can see the insert previews this early? I found the Redplum previews in a search, but would like to verify the post above that says there will be Schick and Colgate coupons in the SS this coming Sunday.

Thanks in advance! :)

**Edit, nevermind, Taylortown has it posted now. :)

Thanks to perrofino (and reps). There will indeed be a $5/1 Schick Hydro and a $1/1 Colgate ProClinical coupon in the SS on 6/13. :)

Question.

If I bought the Razor deal last week, can I get in on the deal again the following week? It sames limit 1 per household, but I'm not sure if that is just for the 1 week sale period, or forever.

If anyone could answer I would appreciate it and rep!

It has been mentioned that the limit is really 2. This is most likely a monthly limit, but I can't say for certain.

Unless it is free at your local grocery store, it is not a great deal. You aren't spending cash if you use ecb's.

Well, after coupon, it's $.50/box at my store.

If I buy at CVS, it's $10 for 3, less $3 in coupons & $4 in ECB, so $3 or $1/box. Granted, it does eat up/roll $7 in ECB, so I'll have to decide if that's worth it.

Around here, Albertsons LLC periodically has cereal deals in which I get tons of cereal for free or nearly free.

Target also has great cereal deals now and again.

I haven't done any of the cereal deals for a while at CVS because I've been getting better deals on it elsewhere.

ianmfisher 06-09-2010 08:49 PM

Is it just me or are the Old Spice Buy Deodorant get Body Wash coupons for the fresh collection deodorants only? They say that, but have they worked for other Old Spice deodorants in the past?

If it as the coupon says, those deodorants are $5 and you would be better off combining the Gillette $2 Deodorant coupon and the buy Gillette Deodorant get Body Wash free.

Let me know if the OS coupons have worked on the cheaper OS deodorants, then we're in business.

delftgirl, :welcome: to cvs'ing!

each bodywash will ring up as $4... the limit 1 simply means that you will only get ECB for one of them as in the deal is only valid once per card.

so, the way your transaction would price out if this is all you bought:

OS Body Wash $4
OS Body Wash $4
Total: $8 + tax
- $4 OS Body Wash BOGO Q = $4 + tax
- $2 Body Wash CRT = $2 + tax
Get back 4 ECB

after tax is factored in, it would be a $1.xx moneymaker

nice scenario! thanks for sharing and good luck with cvs!

BAD NEWS FOR SOCAL CVSERS! :shake:

We do not have the OldSpice/Gillette FAECB. Our General Mills promo is a dollar cheaper, Spend $9, get $3 ECB. Various price differences (slightly cheaper than nationa ad) on groceries deals.

strange_kiddo 06-10-2010 03:37 PM

Got my first transaction planned!

1x Fusion ProGlide = 9.97
1x Schick Hydro = 8.97
2x Gillette Body Wash = 8
= 26.94
-$4/20
-$4 Fusion ProGlide
-$5 Schick Hydro
-$4/2 Body Wash
=9.94 pay with 10ECB, get back 13 ECB

I have the old Schick coupons, hopefully my store will turn deals on Saturday evening like they always do.

ianmfisher 06-10-2010 04:29 PM

Body Washes are apparently limited to one this time around but it might actually be two despite saying one.

If it as the coupon says, those deodorants are $5 and you would be better off combining the Gillette $2 Deodorant coupon and the buy Gillette Deodorant get Body Wash free.

Let me know if the OS coupons have worked on the cheaper OS deodorants, then we're in business.

They have worked on other types in the past at WAGS, but my cashier this week was reading the fine print "equal or lesser value", so she would only take off up to the amount of the less expensive item; I stuck to the more expensive Fresh Collection. Besides, now they are required to make sure we purchase exactly what the q calls for. The Fresh Collection sells really well at my GS @ $2.

There are CRTs out there for $2 off any $6 BW or bar soap purchase. I got them at the scanner.

Oh... what a shame :(

Since I'm new to CVSing, I have a question:

I want to get the Olay Pro-x Kit for 59.99
I want to use:
- 5/15
- 5/30
- 3/1 manu
Can I do this?

It will depend on your cashier. The system should allow it and my stores let me as long as I meet the total of the 2 combine, but the coupons actually say cannot be combine with any other coupon that offers money off a purchase. So if they want to be problematic they can. HTH

theloo 06-11-2010 08:46 AM

I have so many ECB expiring next week that I probably have to do at least 4 transactions on Sunday with the $4/20 coupon. If I go around to different stores, will I be able to do it or will the coupon eventually be rejected? It beeps everytime for me (even when I receive it in my email), but cashiers usually push it through.

Here's what I'm getting:
2 pairs of sunglasses
2 pairs of sunglasses
Schick razor
Gillette bodywashes
2 rolaids (hopefully with raincheck)
4 scrubbing bubbles (hopefully with raincheck)
as much milk as I need for fillers

The difficult thing will be to use the $15ECB from the Contour meter in one shot!

CVSaddicted 06-11-2010 11:18 AM

Oh, I didn't know that! Thanks. Because it didn't expire till sometime in July, I printed off a few extras, so I think I have 2 left to use still.

There is a deal at sears for fathers day, if you spend $50 in men's apparel you get $50 come back cash. So this weeks buy a $50 sears card get $10 ECB would make that deal even sweeter. Thanks to rampradeep all the info is here if you are interested.

I can confirm that Revlon is limit one. Can also confirm that the 6/6 week $3 sale price for the Old Spice bw overrides the 6/13 $4 deal, so no ECB unless you can get a manual print. Can also reconfirm that John Frieda appears to be more than three. My receipt now says amount towards $30, amount needed $10. No more Q's for me, and no more product at my store...time for a raincheck :)

Well, I guess it is going to be a little bit of a hassle to get ECB on Gillette/OS.

Regarding Neutrogena products w/ ECB offers this week, do you think either of these items will qualify both toward the $10 ECB WYB 2 Neutrogena sun care or sunless tanning deal, AND the $10 rebate WYB $30 of Neutrogena facial moisturizers and treatments? (http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?sduid=337040&t=2074356):

Age Shield FACE sunblock SPF 70: http://www.neutrogena.com/econsum...nblock.jsp (I'm guessing it will count toward the CVS deal, but I'm not sure about Neutrogena b/c it's a face product but not a moisturizer)

Healthy Defense line of products with SPF: http://www.neutrogena.com/econsum...-spf50.jsp (There is a picture of a Healthy Defense product on the Neutrogena rebate, but I'm not sure if this will count toward the CVS deal...also, I wonder if this would qualify for the $2 off Neutrogena suncare coupon, since it has SPF...or if the cashier would put it through if it beeps - I guess that's a YMMV).

So in best case scenario:

- 2 of those Neutrogena products mentioned (~$10 each)
- $2*2 coupons
-> pay ~$16 OOP, get $10 RR, and be halfway toward the Neutrogena rebate.

Thoughts? Does anyone know how to get CVS stores to print out a "rebate receipt" that doesn't show discounts or coupons used toward a purchase, since the Neutrogena rebate specifies you must purchase $30 after coupons and discounts have been applied?

So, the $3 OFF coupon on CVS.com, is that really a CVS Q? I printed it today ad it looks like a MFQ that can only be used at CVS. Anyone have exprience using that in conjunction with an MFQ?

notavailable 06-12-2010 03:02 PM

What is the cheapest Gillette deodorant/antiperspirant? Walgreen had a similar deal a few weeks ago and the best deal then was to buy a Gillette deodorant and a Gillette bodywash, and use two coupons - one which made the bodywash free, and the other which was $2 off the deodorant. The coupons expire on June 30th and appeared in a redplum (can't remember the date).

I think at that time the mods ruled that the coupons were worded such that both coupons could be used.

Actual CVS q's begin with 4. MFQ's begin with 5. So , checking the numbers should let you know which one it is. Although some people have had luck in getting to use both on the same item. As always YMMV on that one. HTH

A B1G1 (coded 01) and a $1/1. But this is still YMMV as my CVS won't allow :shake:

That helps thanks. I won't bother trying to double up. The refills should be free with that coupon anyways.

Anyone try double dipping yet? My stores Old Spice rings at $3. I forgot my ECBs or I would have tried. The deal says it is supposed to be $4 with 4 ECBs back, so I am thinking the sale price will be the 'better deal' and no extra care bucks for the double dip.

I didn't try the wipes. DS wanted some sunglasses a few weeks back and I promised to get him some if they went on sale...so I had to comply (just in time for our vacation next week too! :woot: ). But for those of you that have the $3/$15 suncare CRT, well, be sure to use it if you get $15 or more in sunglasses. After all, they protect your eyes from the sun.

And the wipes last year were my first bitter disappointment with CVS. I found one pack, and spent hours driving around over the next couple of days hunting one more. When I finally found one, I was so excited, but got no ECB's...CVS had turned off the glitch no more than two hours earlier. So, I assumed they knew better this time, and didn't even try them.

Anyone try double dipping yet? My stores Old Spice rings at $3. I forgot my ECBs or I would have tried. The deal says it is supposed to be $4 with 4 ECBs back, so I am thinking the sale price will be the 'better deal' and no extra care bucks for the double dip.

Correct, but since my store had already put up the ECB sign for the week and turned on the deals they manually printed it for me. So $3 for the OS body wash with $4 ECB manually printed. HTH.

I tried these today just in case- but no ECB this time. HTH :)

Can someone explain to me why the head and shoulders blinkie is so valuable? Someone on another board that knows I put them up asked me for a huge quantity of them - these are only good on the larger size so it's not like close to free or anything. What am I missing?

Not sure the reason, but maybe for a Kmart super doubles event?

I didn't even have to worry about it, my store was out of the correct deodorant so I got a rain check and I will just do it next week when they have both items and do the deal properly.

I was going to get the glasses today, but they were all super expensive.. Most of the adult ones were 15.00-18.00 each. The ad said psa 5.99 but I couldn't even find a kids pair cheaper than 6.99.

I checked on the glasses too. I only found one pair that was $5.99 and it was a transformers pair that I had got last year.

I did the deal for my kids. Got two pair that were 6.99 each. What I don't get is why the limit is two on this sale and one on sunscreen. I need sunscreen much more than 4 pairs of sunglasses!!! :)

I used it with a manuf. coupon with no problem.

The neutrogena rebate says: "Purchase requirement calculated before taxes and after other discounts have been applied." I wonder if they'll use that wording to deny the rebate if we pay with ECBs. May not be worth the risk.

Is pantene like a monthly deal or smth?

I signed up 2 of my cards for the diabetes program and one of the cards got the weird ECB. So sign up! Might get lucky!

It just says "$Extra Bucks (Up to $2.00 value)".

The card that got the ECB was signed up in the store by scanning the pamphlet.

The large bottles are on ecb this week 5.99 with 2 extra bucks and in the ad.. My store also had new tags up for last weeks pantene deal 2/6.97 with 2 extra bucks.. same tag, new dates for this week, although it isn't in the ad.. Cashier told me she thinks it is a monthly deal. So, I think if you already did the deal, it won't let you do it again.

magnum30 06-12-2010 09:52 PM

Where do you sign up for the diabetes club?

Did the Gillette razor limit reset? If yes, is the limit one?

There should be pamphlets near the pharmacy. There should also be displays near the vitamins with a tearpad. You just scan the barcode with your card to sign up.

If you get a nice cashier. It will even count for a Green Bag Tag scan!

theloo 06-12-2010 10:07 PM

Had an okay run tonight. Northern California does NOT have the Gillette BW deal. I scanned & it showed $3, which we knew from this week, but then the friendly cashier let me have his tomorrow ad & it's not there :( Boo hoo!!! If it's any consolation, eggs are on sale $.88/dozen ;)

I did the sunglasses and bought 2 pairs of children's $6.99. Since I used the $4/20, they were FAECB. I also bought CVS tissues & used the $1 off allergy even though they were on sale for .88.

I have to wait until tomorrow to do the Schick deal since I don't get coupons early. I hope the coupon includes the blades since I don't need ANOTHER razor!

The Gillette/Old Spice BW is LIMIT 2!!!!!. I bought 2 and got 8EB. However the bad news is that the Gillette Fusion Razor EB is not printing, will have to call or email for it, or if your store knows how to manually print it.

bailey327 06-12-2010 10:48 PM

I can confirm that on the sunglasses deal, that I tried those little lens wipes that worked once for us on a sweet little deal - but alas this time they did not. Was worth a shot anyway!!

That's odd. Gillette razor ECB printed no problem for me?

Will have to go back to get more BW, I got 1 Gillette tonight and it rang up $3 and no EB printed, but the manager printed a $4 EB when I showed him the ad...all the other sale prices were on. So the Gillette did not tally on my receipt

I looked at the x/xx so generously offered but decided not to try 4/20 or 5/30 b/c they are addressed to Donald and I don't think I'd pass. this store not real Q friendly. Did squeak by with the 3/15:thanks:

do they show up as just VISA on receipts?

i wanted to let people know that i live in arizona and we also didnt get the bw i was soo mad:mad:. usually at this store the hangtags are not on but they do start the ad prices on sat. so i got it paid for it but no ecb's. i asked the cashier and she said it wasnt in the ad, so i just waisted 3 ecbs for nothin:mad:

oewiz 06-13-2010 01:23 AM

If anyone is going for the acnefree ecbs, look for $1 off any full-sized acnefree item coupons in the CVS store. I found them attached to a display that held trial sized acnefree products in the aisle with the deodorant.

The Gillette razor IS A MONTHLY DEAL!!! You can only do it 2 times total, and you will have a hard time getting the ECBs manually printed, when your reciept says "Offer limit reached!":(

Anyone know for sure? I am reading conflicting info on the razor, if it is a monthly or not. Some say on another board it is new, some say it's a monthly. Has anyone who got the razor last week tried it yet?

Can you get the Miami Herald? They have it. I'm in SE FL and I bought the Miami Herald yesterday and they had all coupons!

I just checked my delivered Sun Sentinel and it did not have the coupons either! I'm so glad I bought the .50 Miami Herald someone had mentioned here.

For those that bought 2 Fusion razors last week, did you buy another one today and get the ECB's?

sandalwood 06-13-2010 06:38 AM

No Schick in my paper either....

Since I posted earlier, I ran up to the CVS on the corner when it opened & thought I'd mention at ours (SC coast) the Right Guard Total defense deo. rings up at reg. price of $4.99. So, even with the b1g1 free sale & the $3 off two coupon, it's not a good deal to me.

The ProGlide from last week dropped off my reciept, so it was a new deal for me today. I had only gotten one last week though.

Also, can confirm that here the gillete body wash is limit 2. Made $4 in bucks :) with the coupon.

Old Spice is limit 2 also. Its the SAME deal as Gillette but just wanted to report that old spice works the same as gillette body wash. Buy 2, use bogo coupon, get $8 ecb. Happy Shopping!

so what does your receipt say now for gillette proglide, that you bought 2 and limit is reached, or that you bought 1 and limit is reached? did the ecb print for it? i saw someone else on another board say they bought 2 over the past 2 weeks, got another one today, and got no ecb's.
this is seriously bs for cvs to advertise something 3 weeks in a row as limit 1, if they know full well you can only buy 2 and get the advertised ecb's. for them to pull this same crap (hydro deal last month went the same way) is nuts. some state consumer fraud agency, or many of them, will hammer them ruthlessly for this crap.

To sum up what i said earlier, 2 weeks ago I had bought 2 Old Spice BW, and early this morning I bought another 2 and got back 8EB. So the BW deal is NOT a monthly and has been reset and the limit is 2.

Yes, the gillette/old spice is limit 2. Also, for the Revlon, the tools do not count (bought a tweezer). All the makeup counts, though.

strange_kiddo 06-13-2010 09:13 AM

Awesome that the BW is limit 2! This is one of the times I wish they would only let you do 1 transaction at a time though! Two 4ECB way easier to spend than 8ECB! Easier to use up the B1G1 coupons too! Oh well. Complaining about free money.

I haven't heard of that at all, so it has not been posted in any CVS thread. Maybe wags or RA? I'd LOVE more info though, so if anyone has any, :please: please post here!

Dang. I needed a new pair. I guess I'll use that $3/$15 on sunscreen.

Gregphill 06-13-2010 09:40 AM

Bought 2 old spice bw & body spray, used the B1G1 free and the B2 body washes get free body spray, cashier (ss), put it through for full amount although I think she should have taken off $4 ($4.59), also tried to buy the Golfsmith GC, the register declined to sell it to me??? So the ss sold me a $50 gas card (mobil gas, no fee) and gave me the 10ECB. Really wanted the Golfsmith card, oh well.

Receive a canvas tote when you buy any Biore, Jergens or John Frieda product at CVS. Send in your name, address and CVS receipt by July 17, 2010 to:

People Summer Tote Promotion
PO Box 4938
New York, New York 10185

Since it says "any" I am guessing there is no purchase amount requirement. I don't get People magazine , but , I read that is on page 31 of this week's magazine for those of you that do.

If you have one BOGO coupon, you should get two, pay $4, and get back $8 ECBs ($4 MM). Or if you have two BOGO coupons, and can use the extra free body wash, you certainly could buy four total, use two BOGO coupons, pay $8, and get $8 ECBs back. The beauty is that it is good for Old Spice or Gillette body wash, and there are BOGO coupons for both, so there should be plenty in the store. Don't forget to use your $2/$6 body wash CRT if you got one!

I have $2 off Neutrogena suncare qs that I found on a display last year. They don't expire until 2013. Don't know if there are any still around, but if you see any Neutrogena displays, check for qs. Their cardboard displays almost always have qs.

For a simple reason that when you create a post to make a remark and then you want to delete what you said you have 2 options:
1. You can say "delete"
2. You can say "never mind"

You cannot delete the post itself, thus you let others know that your post was not important as a courtesy.

It was not directed at you in any way. If anything, if you spend a little more time on this site, you will see a lot of posts like that.

You should probably check endcaps. I found none in the aisle, but there was an entire endcap display of both bodywashes.

Also, you can ask to see if they have it in stock in the back room.

Finally, you can get a raincheck, and then when it is back in stock, they will adjust the price, and print your ECB manually.
