Urban Outfitters Stackable 20% off $100 and $25 off $75
 

Urban Outfitters [urbanoutfitters.com] has two promotions going on now:
20% off $100+ with coupon: TEENVOGUE
$25 off of $75+ (good on sale items too) with coupon: DAWNOFTHEDEAL
The 20% coupon is taken off first, which results in a much better deal than if it were the other way around.

As an example, this $100 pair of boots [urbanoutfitters.com] becomes $55. $100 reduces to $80 after the 20% off coupon, then $25 off $75+ reduces the price to $55. You need to press the back button to enter more codes.

This was a slightly better deal when I originally posted this buried in another thread when you could get free shipping starting at $75. Now you have to have a minimum of $150 to avoid the $10 shipping charge. However, since return shipping is free, hypothetically you could just add something to get you to the $150 mark, then send it back. I am not sure if the discounts will be retroactively removed if by returning the items you no longer meet the discount thresholds however.

As of 11/3 TEENVOGUE has expired.

It won't let you see the total price before you put in your credit card info... so I wasn't able to verify that the codes stack. Anybody can confirm?

the $25 off 75 works on sale items BUT the 20% off doesnt work on sale items

did this the other day when it also stacked with the free shipping code..didn't think about adding the 20% code FIRST! could have saved an extra 5 bucks or so haha

There's a field that says "enter promotion code" i believe it is the page after you confirm your billing/shipping address and enter credit card info.

The $25 off &75 is good through tomorrow and the 20% of $100+ is good through the 31st of October.

The 20% code is not 20% off your entire order - ONLY non-sale items and ONLY if your non-sale items equal 100 or more. If you are including sale items to get to $100 the code will not work (though the $25 off $75 would still).

Hope that clarifies any issues (except the zip code problem, that is weird).

I got that error with Opera. Switched to IE and had no issues during checkout.

Just FYI - Urban does have a cool shirts but be careful they SHRINK bad! Make sure you wash in cold water and hang dry.

Does anyone know how it works during a return to UO if you used a coupon?

Every time I have ordered it has been with a coupon, and they accept returns at their stores or via mail. It's actually great.

So it seems I didn't notice the 20% taken off since it isn't shown like how the $25 is taken off. I did notice however that the 20% off will work with an item that isn't over $100.

I think the coupons last until tomorrow midnight, but I'm not sure. It may be tonight.

So I'm guessing that they will prorate the discount, correct?

so i want to get a pair of jeans for 70 then get a $30 filler item. then return it. How would that work ? would they just give me back the original value of the item or do they deduct the money off ? o.o

Somehow, the $25 off coupon is applied to my account. I clear the cookies/cache, close the browser, start it back, and still the $25 off shows...it's basically blocking me from using the teenvogue coupon first. Anyone know how to clear this code out of an account? It's driving me crazy...

Since only one code works on sale items, my question is if I have a cart with $100 of non-sale items plus some sale items, will both codes still stack? Or does your entire order need to be non-sale items if you want to stack the two codes?

Nevermind. I found it was actually $5 cheaper for me to place two orders, one for thesale and one for the non-sale items, rather than purchasing them all together in one order. Using the $25 off $75 coupon twice outweighed having to pay for two lots of shipping ($20).

If you have more than $100 of non-sale items in your cart, the 20% code will apply even if the $25 off code is in effect. So even if you add it second, it is applied first. At least that was my experience.

I did too, a large. Came in today, I really like the style and the quality, though I'm not sure if it is just a bit too small for me. At 6'1" and 205lbs, athletically built, maybe it is just 5% too small (though the arm length is fine). Perhaps that is the way to stylishly wear this coat though....

Well done. If you are ordering a lot of sale/non-sale items, there is definitely some tweaking that can be done to reduce the cost.

Sweet deal. I did two orders (one for a pair of boots and one for 2 pairs of jeans); each was about $100 minus 20% and $25), but I put in some fillers to get over $150 for each purchase to get free shipping. Ends up basically being 45% off $100 (for two separate transactions) once I do returns.

dang.. my order got backordered. I'm 5'10" 180.. i got the medium but i might have to exchange for a L when it comes.. :/

After a lot of consultation with a variety of friends/family I am going to stick with the large. Hopefully the medium works for you!
