A 38 page cookbook? Please.

This is a wonderful marketing ploy to quickly get a bunch of names and emails. Some members of my family are into these snake oil salesman schemes. They professed to having the 'great life' while NOT working and in the background always borrowing money from family members.

The only people that make money from this philosophy are the people that are trying to sell you this bucket of crap.

Sadly in these desperate times, people will try anything.

Trust me, eventually this guy will hound you until you buy something from him.

Quick review of The 4 Hour Work Week:

It's a great fun book to read for those who dream of getting out of the rat race. It has a bunch of fun stories and useful ideas about how to minimize your daily responsibilities. It can be very motivational for someone with the desire to work for themselves/work less. I liked the book a lot and recommend it.

However, it is quite apparent that Feriss' primary goal in this was to check off a to do item, "write a best selling book". Many of his suggestions involve getting other people to do things for you and being disrespectful of other people's time and efforts in order to maximize your free time. Many of his suggestions are good for people trying to start a business, but this book is much more entertainment and motivational rather than instructional on how to achieve a 4 hour work week.

I bought it, and bought it for a friend too, so for free, by all means pick it up. Hope this helps!
