CVS $1 Malt o Meal cereal + Printable Coupon
 

I went to 4 stores this morning.

One of my stores had an endcap of Malt O Meal Honey Nut Cheerios for $1. These on the end cap next to the FAEB bandaids.

I found a printable coupon. You have to fill in some info so Malt O Meal can try to get their product into your favorite store, but after that, you can print a $1 coupon twice. The coupons I printed expire 7/31/08.

I haven't bought it in a while cause there was a problem with the cereal few months back. Think they wer recalled??? Not sure of what it was.

It was a voluntary recall back in April limited to the Puffed Rice and Puffed Wheat kinds. [malt-o-meal.com]

FWIW, I've tried a few varieties of MOM cereal, and it's not bad, especially for free. If you have really picky kids, just refill the *real* Fruity Pebbles box w/the MOM kind and see if they can tell the difference. :lol:

Thanks found only one box left for me here, but only CVS around for 50+ miles. I guess they like Malt o Meal here.! :yummy:

anyone have a jpeg or pdf of this? i cant make that stupid coupon printer work.

Bricks doesn't work for me either so that would be nice!

Random bit of information--Malt-O-Meal supplies the cereal for many (if not most) store brand cereals. So if you've ever bought a store brand, you've probably had MOM.

Another random bit of information--The MOM "Lucky Charms" have a phallus-shaped marshmallow. Why it's shaped like that I have no idea, but it makes me laugh every time.

I don't know of any pdf copies out there, sorry.

But to those who question the quality......My hubby, who is very picky about cereal, said the Honey Nut Cheerios tasted fine.

Was only able to get one box. Cashier spent 5 minutes reading all my coupons & when she came to them & saw it was one per household she gave one back to me.

This is my first thread here, so I hope I did this right.

I just did a CVS run and found the Malt O Meal, Honey Nut Cheerios equivalent (can't think of the name right now) on clearance for $1.00. I had an internet printable for $1.00 off any Malt O Meal cereal.

So...free cereal.

I'm not sure how clearance items work from store to store, but mine is in No. California if that helps anybody.

I'm not sure why someone gave you a thumbs down - maybe because they felt this should have been in the clearance thread, but I'll rep you for your first thread, and for trying.

I think I will be avoiding this brand of cereal at all costs. Luckily, with coupons I can afford to get the real name brand suff.

But seriously, doesn't ALL packaged or processed foods have a small percentage of rat hair, etc in it? I remember learning that in elementary school.

It is a disgrace to find a mice carcus in your cereal though. They even ate several bowls!!!

I'm going vegetarian, and giving up cereal.

My local Food 4 Less (Vegas) has these cereals 3 for $1.00. Even better if they let you use the $1.00 coupon.
I bought some and there were not to bad. Tasted like the name brand stuff.
Did not watch the video though. All food is made with some sort of yucky stuff. Think about hot dogs! Ugh! ;)

I haven't found any jpegs. the coupons are two for each computer and I don't think they would scan well

It is illegal to scan them as each one has a unique barcode. Believe the coupon says no photocopies or reproductions.
