Not sure how many people were thinking about downgrading to XP but I searched dell's support and it looks like there are not drivers for the video card for XP. This might help though.

Would you recommend this as a good computer for a middle school kid to be able to do Switched on Schoolhouse (homeschool on computer) and surfing the web??? Will dell have better deals with 4th of July weekend coming???
