Get out of your sprint contract without any fees! Only a couple days left
With sprint's public refusal to allow Android phones on their networks, no iphone, no new blackberry's, etc.. I had enough, and want something new. I just got out of 2 lines of service with 2 year contracts for free. On January 1st, 2009, they are changing their "Administration Fee" from .75cents per month, to 99 cents, which allows you to not agree to the changes, thus letting you out for free. Be persistant, they have to let you out. I'm about to do the exact samething, after trying a couple of new phones and still not quite happy we are now shopping for an iphone or G1.
We have 3 lines, 2 are out of contract, if we need to port the phone numbers how do we go about doing that if they term the phone number immediately. I was told by att that the number must be active to port it. Anyone know? |

I immediately went to an apple store purchased an iphone 3g, and I had to sign a paper transferring my old number to my new phone. The phone took about an hour to start accepting the new number.

I just spoke to Sprint, and they have now advsed me that as of Jan 1st, I have the right to cancel my account, if I choose to, and NOT get an early termination fee on. I had it listed on my account so that if I do decide to terminate early then there wil be no penalty, but I coud not get the contract to conclude early.
