took the 'eFax Trial' (as opposed to just 'eFax') on 06/15 and got the same results...
I think eFax is the fraudulent one here....

If I were you, I would be more pissed at myself for releasing that information to sites that are of lower quality and are not reputable.

I know this has been said..but..My major weapons against scammers & tools to make things easier:

Virtual Credit cards (paypal.com)
K7.net (for a free phone number)
Create an email address specifically designed for offers. (gmail or hotmail, or whatever)
roboform to store my alter ego's information and to make form filling as easy as a click of a button. (cause I won't remember my fake #, but it will)

This keeps your personal life away from your deal finding life.

I looked at roboform.com and they charge you for the pro version. Is there just a basic version that will help you with forms at no cost? I use google usually but that's with all my curent info. I'd like to use roboform or any other free version for extra email address and info.

BTW does anyone know how often they update the offers? Do they add/change some each week? There doesn't seem to ba to many good/free ones right now.

Sometimes the offers change from day to day...

I log in once in the morning and once in the evening each day to see if there are any changes or updates.

I haven't done any offer on megafreebie for over a month now...I've been doing the offers and too busy buying referrals for both 3604free.com and yourps34free.com

Grant Secrets Revealed is a good, reliable offer. Magazine Burst costs more money, but you get magazines. Only worth it if you want the magazines.

Magazine burst costs $27, but you get 5 magazine subscriptions. I have never done the offer, I don't need the magazine subscriptions. For 1 point on MF (if it credits), it's not too bad.

They even have a refund policy:

Quote :
We want you to be happy with your magazines. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, please call us at 888-624-2877 for a full refund.

Customer service can be reached 10am - 6pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.

Or feel free to send a letter with a brief explanation to:

MagazineBurst.com
990 Grove St., Ste. 204
Evanston, IL 60201

Seattle Coffee Direct costs $25.

It's a bit misleading. MF shows it only costs $5, however when you get to the site, it says take 5 for $5 each. (2 tumblers, 1 set of mugs, and 2 bags of coffee = 5 items)

Per their terms:
Quote :
--Your initial order will be shipped to you within 10 days of your ordering. Please wait at least 2 weeks from order to receive your initial order. The total cost of your initial order will be $25.00. There is no additional charge for shipping. Cancel anytime by calling us at 888-217-CAFE.

--Each month, you will receive your two monthly selections. Feel free to login to the site and modify your selections at any time. This will allow you to vary your coffee each month. Or stick with what you love. You control what you get. Each month you will be billed $12.50 for each 12-oz. bag of coffee, plus a small shipping and handling fee.
Their terms mention nothing about returning the initial order for a refund if not satisfied.

$25 for 1 point is a no go for me. Especially with no way to return, if needed.

I just called them and your right it's so misleading! She said I can just put return to sender and they will refund me the total amount! I never got my credit for them and efax trial. I tried it's listed as a $5.00 cost under MF. SCD and Efax trial says it credits inatantly but nothing yet it's been 15 + hours. I'm thinking of contacting MF to let them know.

I know this might be a stupid question but where is the list of the FAQ's on MF website. I know I've seen the list before but I don't remember where.

I would advised against the return to sender because you would be put at a disadvantage if they said they never received it....ya know?

I've read bad things about Magazine Burst. Your total will be around $87 total. They charge $50 for "shipping".

MF used to respond within 2 hours and then it was about 4 and now you're lucky for a response within 48 hours (which is actually the norm on other sites).

You may need to submit a MCR for the credits.

Also, if you are doing freebies for the first time, you will need to make sure your computer is not blocking cookies....

See the following:

1: Before logging into a site, ALWAYS clear your cookies. This is the MAIN problem regarding not getting credit. If you have not cleared your cookies and you have clicked the offer elsewhere you will get credit there instead.
2: ALWAYS use Internet Explorer or Firefox. Other browsers have known issues with crediting.
3: BEOFRE YOU LOGIN make sure your cookies are on the lowest security setting: this accepts them all.
4: DISABLE ANY antivirus, spyware, firewalls, or ad checking software before logging in. A lot of people don't realize that these programs can either interfere with the cookies that make an offer track, or they can block offer tracking.
5: WAIT on the confirmation page for a minute or two and make sure EVERYTHING loads. Many times the crediting aspect of the sale takes place on the confirmation page of your order, so if you x out too quickly you WON'T get credit.

Bummer, means it's probably down.

I wouldn't send them an email though, just send a support ticket.
