Fry's.com also has it available for pre-order. For those who do not live in AZ, CA, GA, OH, TX, NV,WA, IL or IN they do not charge tax. But they do charge shipping.

For some it will be cheaper to pre-order from Fry's instead of CC's because of the tax. For me - CC charges me $38 in taxes w/ free shipping while Fry's charges me $17 for 2-day ($11 for ground) and no tax.

Amazon will ultimately be cheaper for most - but Fry's deal is available for those who don't want to wait.

Anyone have a plan/method on how to get the LIMITED EDITION version of the game *and* an 80GB PS3?

AND/OR... does anyone know if the 40GB MGS4 PS3 on the KONAMI site is capable of having it's hard drive upgraded (like other PS3s)?

Sure, you could upgrade the HDD, but you won't have any backwards compatibility. That's one of the big reasons people are waiting around for an 80 gb

Sure, buy the 80gb bundle and the MGS4 Limited Edition game from Gamestop. Sell the one that came with the bundle.

I preordered it from frys, but I just got an e-mail last night saying they are "out of stock" for the preorders. I'm on a backorder list now...I'd rather wait for it anyway. I'm in no rush to get it until GT5 comes out to be honest.
