FYI, although the coupon says it is not good on markdowns, when you go into the store to look around, ask. I was very pleasantly surprised to find out the store we were at the last time they did this was honoring the coupon on everything you bought, not just markdowns. Obviously, you won't get the % off online on markdowns, but it's worth a shot.

I wouldn't recommend just calling the store though, as I think once they see you're in the door, they're more likely to say yes to you, especially if you look like you'll be buying a couple of things.

We got a whole 'start school wardrobe' for right at $200 using this. That included 5 pairs of jeans, several pairs of shorts, 3 or 4 hoodies and a bunch of shirts.

I concur..the deal is sweeter in-store and lets you use the coupon for sale items and markdowns. This worked for me at the Sawgrass mall in Miami.

I read the post from the same event in Aug.

Sale and markdown are not the same. It looks like it is good on sale items but not the "red line" clearance items. These are the items with a price hand written on the price tag.

Of couse, some got the 30% on these too so YMMV.

That's good, I was worried about that...Aeropostale is a huge, huge ripoff when items aren't discounted (like most other mall stores) but their sales and of course their clearances are usually pretty good, esp. those 70% off sales. I'll definitely try this in a store if and when I get the chance!

umm i just got 4 shirts from the 2 for $20 sale, after i added the coupon it said $23 dollars off, so after $7 shipping it told me to pay $25 for everything... so the discounts stacked? online btw...
