I bought my 80 for $225, and my home pack (V1, no less) for another $25.. this is a steal. Never back to iPod for me, at least not for mass storage players. The car pack over on Sellout.Woot has been worth every penny, though -- got it last time around! What a steal of a price for Zune stuff.

Exactly -- but for what it's worth, I got the 80GB right when it came out at $250, with a 10% off AAA coupon.

There's nothing different other than the HD size, because they have the same firmware. Oh, and the 80GB sports a matte finish, and the 120GB has a shiny finish. That's all.

I think all Zunes can do WMA lossless.

What do you play your FLAC on? I don't know of any player with a decent sized HDD that supports it (besides using rockbox)

Both my parents have refurbed zune 30s from woot that they bought well over a year ago, both are still going strong. Also cosmetically looked good as new. You can buy these refurbs with confidence.

Honestly, I have never owned an ipod, but after the 2 years of owning a zune I never want to. The biggest downside to owning a zune over an ipod ive found is that there is a million accessories made for the ipod, and while zune has quite a few, its not near the selection. But the device itself has lots of advantages. Bigger screen, games, firmware updates that constantly improve it. And the zunepass service is awesome, for $15 a month its well worth it.
