Got the box last night.
The coffee maker is pretty nice though I have a couple of complaints
  • the tiny little slit where you add the water is a bit too small.
  • the machine itself seems quite big (esp compared to our old ProctorSilex 12-cup)
  • it uses cone-style filters, so our big stack of cupcake-style ones don't fit

All in all we're pretty happy with it and will keep it.

Our box came with an offer for limited edition coffee. They claim this is rare and wonderful coffee that isn't available anywhere else. $36/quarter (shipped) for 4 * 1/2lb boxes. Pretty tempting offer that we're still considering.

Ordered on Monday, received yesterday, cancelled this morning (while sipping coffee), still waiting for the confirmation that my account has been cancelled, but used a temporary visa # w/$10 limit just in case.

You probably need to go to your second email from them that has your account # listed and set up your account again.

When I first ordered, I set up my account # right away and saw the same as you, - no orders ever made. Then when I got my account # I made another account using the number and everything appears.

I just got my set w/ teas but how exactly are you supposed to make tea?
There's no instructions from the coffeemaker nor the tea package that can be found.

Do a teaspoon per cup and brew it, but if you want the best flavor from tea you should use boiling water and let it fuse for 3-5 minutes. The coffee maker will only give you water that is about 160-170 degrees which is ideal for coffee, but not for tea. If you're going to use it to make iced tea this would be okay also.

I use the cupcake ones all the time in mine. Smash them flat on the counter, fold the circle in half, and then fold a small "pie slice" piece again. Then you can open the flattened "cone" and go to town. It is the way we learned to fold filter paper circle for lab use in chemistry

How long do we have to cancel?

I sent them an email saying i didnt receive what i ordered. I wanted white with stainless and received black. Should i wait a couple days to see if white comes or cancel now.

I would cancel unless their customer service can arrange to send you a new one in the colour you want and also send a prepaid return invoice for you so you don't have to be out of pocket for shipping back the other one. I don't expect they will go for letting you keep both of them, but you won't know until you ask. Call them on their toll free number (24x7) and see what they can do.

If they wont go for it cancel and see if you can reorder using code 110895 which will get you the same $10 deal, but with 2 bags of coffee.

The teas are in tea bags w/ no string on them, so its either i put it where i'm supposed to put the filter w/ the filter or w/o the filter or i just make hot water and throw the bag in the pot??

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry, I thought it was loose leaf. Since theyre in bags you could just throw them in the carafe and brew one cup of water per bag that you use.

Forgot to mention that if you are brewing green tea the water temp from the coffee maker is perfect, but again if you are brewing black tea, you will get the best flavor from using freshly boiled water.
