its hard to believe its for $5, the misprint is probably true. The 512mb of any company was barely priced this low, and only once came on sale at or below this price inteh past month or two. I doubt that they pull the trigger in sales for a 1gb this fast. At this rate, the 2gb would be the ones FAR during BF2007 then.... only 1.5 months away....

but man do i wish its true, been a while since a good sale came out.. especially with crappy staples sales and change in its PM policy to 100%

But for reformat you have to plugin the drive. First time when you plug in, sony will install the software.
So need to look other options like start windows in safe mode or boot cd etc ..

So we have to run the installer in order to get the rootkit right? Stupid ass sony and their idiotic rootkits...they need to just stop bundling software with their stuff, period.

If you've already made the purchase, wait till 10/07 and go to your local CC store to either return the goods, or a price adjustment.
