Thumbs up for the Pump flashback (and the good deal). I remember begging my parents to drop, geez, maybe $100 15 years ago or so for the original Pump thinking that somehow it would be the secret to my basketball success.

Yes, they were. Not very comfortable and not aesthetically appealing. And you are correct - no basketball success. But ah, the memories. I have long-abandoned my NBA dreams and now buy the cheapest sneakers I can find that are in my size 13s.

I think I need size 13s. I currently wear 12s and my toes turn black after every game.

Not a good sign. Toenails will eventually start to fall off (trust me).

Use LKS17N99 for $20 off $99
Also, if you go through FW you get 8% cash back making it really slick. I bought a size 11 and a size 10.5 in white.. (wasnt sure which would fit me better) and the Teva Wraptor sandals $69 + $19 + $19 - $20 + $10 shipping - 8% FW cash back - 2% credit card cash back .. slick indeed! They first came out in 1989.
Anyone remember Dee Brown of the Celtics 'pumping up' before his dunk that won the NBA's Slam Dunk Contest in 1991? Dunk Clip [youtube.com] |
