CVS January Monthly ECB Deals

I doubt it - there are probably alot more - these are just the items I saw in the bins. I hope there are regular items that are not special packages too.

This is $5.99 here in CT. They had already put them out on the shelves, I bought one and the ECB's didnt print so he just gave me $2.00 back.

FREE CVS toothbrush. (not sure the limit, but likely to be 5) and price looks like either 2.99 or 2.00. I have next weeks ad and there is a mini picture of the January monthly booklet. It also says Over $150.00 in ECB's so more deals to come! yay!!

Also since next week is Buy one get one 50% on all CVS brands I wonder if that may make the toothbrushes a money maker?? Only if the deal is 2 or more.

I spoke to the manager at our local store in Las Vegas. He said that corporate is sending him cartons and cartons of merchandise with extrabuck deals He has not unpacked them yet. I did see a 2 pack of john frieda and also a two pack of St. Ives one body wash and one lotion for 8.99 which gave back 5 ecb.

On another note I was told christmas lights are to be shipped back to warehouse until next Christmas, store received note from district manager which she received from higher up . The lowest they will go is 50% off. The other Christmas stuff will go 50% off then 75% then 90%.

Also there is a new monthy book coming out with over $150 in ecb deals. On the cover is a free toothbrush deal I could not make out the brand as the type was too small. The booklet is pictured on the back page of the weekly flyer coming out 12/30/07.

They did that last year with the lights. And, fragrances didn't go on clearance, at least not the ones I was looking at. They were packing them up and said they go to the mfr for credit, but I find that hard to believe.

LOL. Who hasn't seen packages wrapped in a similar manner from the last go-around this past summer. On the ones that never sold, the CSRs tried to remove the labels that announce the ECBs. They're still on the shelves! Be sure to check the dates on all of the ECB labels, (in addition to product expiration dates, which CVS is notorious for ignoring).

My neighbor bought some pregnancy tests. Only to find out after she got them home that they were expired.

December has been a little frustrating as there've been almost no Oasis or Energy drinks as the stores got a set amount and when they're gone, they're gone. So, those of us who didn't get there right away are missing out.

I'll do better in January!!!
