Wife got me one of these when they first came out, close to 800 bucks. It saved our lives when we went to Atlanta, so many crazy streets with the same name appended with NE, SW, etc. Also came in handy when we took a road trip to NC, gave us directions straight to our cabin. Their routing software is the same used by yahoo maps and some others, I compared the directions the GPS gave me with some online sites, most were identical. The integrated traffic thing is kind of a bust, nice concept but it doesn't work that well. Plus it costs money. But overall 4.5/5 stars from me, we love it!

I don't think it was ever available. Seems to have been some tech issues and will be available soon according to the comments at the Amazon site.

dont worry, these GPS units are on a free fall with respect to prices. Standalone GPS units are passe~. Expect gadgets to do everything including functioning like a pocketpc, mp3 player and cell phone and GPS unit. That is why I would never buy these Garmin units. Each month, the 660 loses $10 in price so whats the hurry
