Nyko PS3 Charger - $17.54 - Amazon Price Drop

The title is very confusing. I clicked this thread wondering why I never knew my PS3 was rechargeable.

Add "PS3 SIXAXIS Charger" to the title, it will probably help

Pretty cool item, though... I get around it, kind of, by leaving 1 always plugged in, and play with my second controller. When it dies, I switch them around. This of course does not work for people that constantly have 2 people playing at the same time.

I do the same thing. I guess it helps that I am usually the only one playing on it. To a certain degree, I like that the PS3 doesn't charge the controllers except when turned on. This keeps the batteries from being overcharged and developing a memory. Nothing like crappy rechargeable batteries that last you 15 minutes and die because you keep them on a charger 24/7. Still a good deal for those who need to charge up both controllers at the same time. Thanks for the link, OP! Repped!

I'd have to say way overpriced for a dual-port charger. It's neat and all, but you can use your computer, or two separate USB wall chargers, for much less cash!

Unfortunately, no. The PS3 controllers charge through USB, but it'll only work with Sony-approved chargers and most computers. I've tried many different types of wall USB chargers on the PS3 controllers and none of them work.
