I don't know about eforcity's charging cables in regards to voltage + iPhone.

I got 3 of the same iphone/ipod travel chargers and a car charger, however either each travel chargers either were broken or had the wrong voltage. Apon plugging each into my iPhone the screen would display erratic behavior, and the touch sensetivity was skewed. Since the iPhone utilizes features dealing with electrcity in the human body that can be sensed from a finger touch (and why you can't use, say, a stylus to operate the screen), I knew that by the iphone recognizing additional touch led to an electrical issue.

Once I get a chance i'm going to send it back for an RMA.
