The $225 GTX 260 is still going on, You just need to find the right rebate. There is a $30 one and a $10. The thread for the GTX 260 has the link to the $30 one.

i think the 4870 has a slight edge in performance but the 260 has a better stock cooling

hmph... I think it would still choose 225 gtx260 over 250 hd4870.... Mostly because of the small features the 260 has... such as physx and more memory... the cards perform pretty much the same on an in-game level... and that's $25 less to put towards a second one when the prices are $50 ar
