it's a great game, but at this point in the year i'd only recommend purchase if you have to have the game soon. it'll be cheaper later, especially with the new call of duty coming out and the holidays around the corner, so if you can wait hold off.

if you really want the game now this is a great price for one of the best shooter games on the market.

ALSO, it should be noted the game of the year edition comes with a token for a free download of the new map pack. that's 4 maps, costing 800 MS points - a roughly $10 value, free thrown in with the game. makes the purchase a little sweeter.

oh...maybe for you there's tax. But for most states..there is no tax. No tax in Michigan from Amazon.

Not as sweet as the deal mentioned in this thread, but FWIW I was able to PM at BB (CC has it for $39.99) last night; I chose to buy it at BB because they had their private RZ event last night after closing hours where you could get double RZ points on nearly all purchases.

Great game, great deal for those that don't have it yet. I wouldn't think you could turn around and get too much of a profit off of it though. They are going to be clearancing it for 5 before too long.

PS3 version is $41.99 on Ebay [ebay.com] (BIN) with free shipping (there are 7 left). You can use 25% live cash back (~$10.50 off to bring it to $31.50), but I would not waste it on that if you plan to make bigger purchases.

Also, this game is totally different from COD5. COD5 will be set back in WW2 area, not modern time like COD4. The consensus is that COD4 will still out rank COD5.
