I already have the LaCrosse Weather Station & remote sensor. Can I run two or more of these in different rooms using the same remote sensor? I'll need to re read the instructions.

I might buy one or more of these

The small weather monitor which accompanied my set seems to have konked out.

I picked up three Oregon Scientific weather things with wireless sensors for $3.xx each at Target clearance. Great to have one sensor in every room and one outside.

years ago, someone sent me a clock/thermometer that doesn't look like either of these models but has the very same transmitter as the 'click me #1' station.
i gotta tell ya...
it may not have ANY brand name on it (it came from sam's club), but it is, quite simply, terrific.
highly recommended.

I was originally just going to buy 2 of them and buy 2 extra remote sensors (1 set is a gift for Dad for Christmas). The remote sensors cost $14.99 (http://www.amazon.com/Crosse-Technology-TX6U-Wireless-Temperature/dp/B0000VYJ0G)

So... you do the math. It just makes sense to buy the complete sets for just over $10. Sweet. I hope these work as good as the other models in the $40-$70 range.

PS - Here's a manual (.pdf file) for this unit. It says there are 3 separate remote sensors that will work w/it, fyi. Cheers - thanks for the deal. Dad will be happy on Christmas day (only about 4 -egad- months away!)!!
