Election Day Freebies: Starbucks Tall Cup of Coffee, Ben & Jerry's Scoop, Krispie Kreme Doughnut
So I'm from CA...buuuuut saw this so here ya go! Sorry if repost..didnt see it anywhere

Starbucks Florida stores just released this statement:

Floridians have persevered through hanging chads, faulty touch screens and long lines, and for that, Starbucks is rewarding voters statewide on Election Day. On Tuesday, November 4th, voters who wear an "I Voted" sticker or show their voter registration card in any company-owned Starbucks Florida location will receive a complimentary tall brewed coffee.

This is the perfect opportunity to try the newly launched Thanksgiving Blend, a limited edition coffee created by Starbucks coffee experts in collaboration with Tom Douglas, renowned chef, culinary entrepreneur and the 2008 Bon Appétit Restaurateur of the Year. Thanksgiving Blend is a flavorful combination of full-bodied beans from Sumatra, with hints of fine herbs, and beans from Guatemala, which add subtle spice, notes of cocoa and a pleasant sparkle.

Hopefully they'll change it to nationwide...we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
GO VOTE!

EDIT: this has now changed to nationwide...thanks famdoc!

No longer need to have voted first. Just request a free tall coffee. http://www.kirotv.com/news/17885256/detail.html

Offer is now nationwide. Details: http://www.starbucks.com/sharedplanet/news.aspx

Store locator: http://www.starbucks.com/retail (as if you couldn't find one by driving/walking a couple of blocks )

If you vote, Starbucks buys your coffee

On November 4, 2008, Starbucks will give voters a free tall brewed coffee at participating U.S. stores.
This initiative kicks off with a 60-second ad during the final pre-election edition of Saturday Night Live on NBC this Saturday.

After voting, voters must go to a Starbucks store, where they’ll be given a tall (12 oz) cup of brewed coffee at no charge (limit one per customer).

This is an extension of Starbucks commitment to community through Starbucks™ Shared Planet™. It lets us immediately support customers who care about the same things we do and who want to make a difference. This idea has also come up a number of times on MyStarbucksIdea.com our on-line forum for sharing customer and partner (employee) ideas.

Free to all in Oregon, not just those who vote due to our laws...Made the top stories on the 11:00 news!!!

Free to everyone in every state, regardless of whether you voted or not. It's illegal in the U.S. to entice people to vote (heard it on NPR), so you don't have to show your sticker. NPR [npr.org]

More Free Items (check out the last one)

Cheesecake: In Chicago, Eli's Cheesecake Company is handing out free slices to voters. But even if you don't live in the Windy City you can get a free 6-inch Original Pain Cheesecake with the purchase of a 9-inch cheesecake at their website - www.elicheesecake.com. Use promo code VOTE8.

Tunes: Rock the Vote will give you eight free MP3s to download if you pledge to vote at www.rockthevote.com/pledge.

Duds: Trina Turk boutiques in the Meatpacking District or Hell's Kitchen will give you a 20% discount on up to three items if you have an "I Voted." www.trinaturk.com/

More clothes: French Connection will give you 15% off purchases today.

Chicken: Chick-fil-A restaurants in New Jersey will give you a free chicken sandwich.

Tacos: California Taco is giving out free tacos, though sadly there are no outlets in New York.

Sex toys: Babeland locations in SoHo, the Lower East Side and Carroll Gardens will give men a free $20 "Maverick" (get it?) penis sleeve. Women get a free $15 silver bullet mini-vibrator.

<p><strong>Note:</strong> Pretty much all of the deals listed below are limited to one per customer, and most rely on that ever-present "participating locations" disclaimer. We've included details on how many stores are participating and what they "require"&mdash;even though it might be a violation of federal elections law to offer financial enticement for voting. Of course, proof-showing requirements will vary from store to store (and amongst over-worked cashiers).</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Ben & Jerry's:</strong> <a href="http://benandjerrys.com/features/i_voted/">Free scoop of ice cream</a> between 5-8pm. Originally, materials stated you'd need some form of proof you voted (like an "I voted" sticker), but current materials just spell out "Free scoops!" (<a href="http://benandjerrys.com/scoop_shops/">locate</a>)</li>
<li><strong>Books-A-Million:</strong> Free cup of coffee after showing your "I voted" sticker. (<a href="http://www.booksamillion.com/storefinder?id=4257999334356">locate</a></li>
<li><strong>California Tortilla:</strong> <a href="http://www.californiatortilla.com/taco-talk.html">Free taco</a> for showing "I voted" sticker. (<a href="http://www.californiatortilla.com/locations.html">locate</a>)</li>
<li><strong>Chick-fil-A:</strong> "Several hundred" of 1,400 Chick-fil-A restaurants are handing out chicken sandwiches (the kind normally $2.70) to adults with proof of voting. (<a href="http://www.chick-fil-a.com/restaurantlocator.aspx">locate</a>)</li>
<li><strong>Krispy Kreme:</strong> Free <a href="http://www.krispykreme.com/images/hot_vote_now08_pop.jpg">star-shaped doughnut</a> with "patriotic sprinkles" (i.e. red, white, and blue) for "all retail customers with an 'I Voted' sticker." USA Today <a href="85%20of%20Krispy%20Kreme's%20231">reports</a> that 85 of 231 Krispy Kreme locations will participate. (<a href="http://web.sa.mapquest.com/krispykreme/?tempset=search">locate</a>)</li>
<li><strong>Shane's Rib Shack:</strong> A free "Celebrate America Meal"&mdash;3-piece chicken tenders, fries, and 20-ounce drink&mdash;to the first 300 customers at participating locations, according to their <a href="http://www.marketwatch.com/news/story/Shanes-Celebrates-American-Democracy-With/story.aspx?guid={6D856C34-2FAF-434A-B35D-731969D25323}">press release</a>. (<a href="http://www.shanesribshack.com/locations.asp">locate</a>)</li>
<li><strong>Starbucks:</strong> Free tall coffee at "any Starbucks." "Tell us you voted" seems to be the bargaining chip, according to their <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2J8KJDsqqY">recent TV ads</a>. (<a href="http://www.starbucks.com/retail/find/default.aspx">locate</a>)</li>
<li><strong>Vote & Vax</strong>: National project by non-profits to offer free flu vaccinations on election day. (<a href="http://www.voteandvax.org/ClinicFinder.aspx">locate</a>)</li>

Judging by your spelling, I can tell that you are a less educated American, so that is par for the course.
