Maxiglide by Maxius - Hair Straightener

I'm usually skeptical about infomercials but I was watching one that yanked my attention - it was about a hair straightener.

I've used flat irons and round brushes while blow-drying my hair. Blow-drying with round brushes is time and effort consuming. Flat irons produced mediocre results - they simply flattened my hair.

I did some research on this product and found positive reviews. I decided to try and ordered the basic Maxiglide hair straightener from shopathometv.com.

The Maxiglide is similar to a flat iron. The main difference is little "teeth" that brush/detangle your hair while straightening. The other difference is that Maxiglide uses steam to soften hair.

The results are pretty awesome. Maxiglide has several settings depending on how coarse and curly your hair is. It charges within minutes and lets you know when it's ready to use. Unlike flat irons, it's easy to start at the roots, since it's built to protect your scalp from burning.

If you or someone you know have been frustrated with flat-irons and other straightening systems, I suggest giving Maxiglide a try.

Maxiglide

I saw the same informercial while on vacation. Upon returning, I tried to log onto www.maxiglidetv.com, but the link took me to shopathometv.com I googled maxiglide, and all of the links took me there. I wanted to purchase it directly from maxius, because they included some hair product, and I think it also included the miniglide.

Do you know how to get in touch directly with them?

I found very positive reviews as well.

I bought one a few months ago. I didn't like it at all so I sold it on eBay.

I think the link you're looking for is http://www.maxiglide.tv
It will redirect you to http://www.maxiusbeauty.com/

shopathometv also sells the hair products and different maxius packages, I think.

Why don't you like the maxiglide?

I am curious what reasons you have for not liking the maxiglide? It would be helpful info to know, if so. Thnx.

I've owned one for about a year now and I think its a great product. It does what it's supposed to do and that's straighten your hair. I also find that it adds shine when you use the steam option. My main gripe is the iron makes your hair so hot that you can't touch it for a few seconds, that can't be very good for your locks, to that end I don't suggest using on the highest setting, or more than once or twice a week.

The mini iron is not usefull at all imo.
