12-cup Coffeemaker, 2 mugs, 1 lb coffee, $14.95 total
I know the Gevalia deals have been posted before, but not this specific one.

Here is the link.

You get a 12-cup programmable coffeemaker, 2 ceramic mugs, 1 lb coffee (different blends available), and a stainless steel coffee scoop for $14.95, including shipping and handling.

Not a bad deal and certainly worth it for coffee drinkers (who don't already have a decent coffeemaker). The only catch is that you have to cancel your subscription after you get the shipment. They will automatically send you 2 lb of coffee every 6 weeks if you don't. No cancellation fee, but if you're one of those people who forget stuff like that, probably not for you.

I just ordered it..
If anyone else does make sure you cancel after you receive the gifts or you automatically start receiving monthly coffee... with an expensive charge.
Coffee is ok but not worth what they charge.

I've had one of their coffeepots for over 8 years - use it all the time and it's still going strong. I'm looking to get a new free one and will probably end up using my maiden name and have it sent to my parents house. They also have a "special" to rejoin - but if you figure out the cost of the coffee plus shipping - it's cheaper to go out and buy a new coffeemaker.

I got this exact one for my mother for Mother's Day. She loves it, raves about it, can't say enough about it.

Yeah I also got one of their thermal coffemakers free with the coffee. Received couple of shipments - coffee seems to be very good, but its a bit expensive to get it every 6 weeks. Anyway don't know about this particular coffee maker - but its definetely worth a try. Mine still works very good and even Folgers coffee comes out of it superior (some of our starbucks committed friends switched to folgers after trying in our house - but finally they figured not the coffee makes such a difference but coffeemaker - and got themselves some expenive Krups, but I definetely think $15 bucks is great for this all.

Why do you think that their coffee makers bad? I haven't used this specific one, but I have an older model that works fine. Obviously not as a good as a french press, but french press' are a pain in the ass.

Can someone please post if this coffeemaker uses special filters or just the standard coffeemaker filter?

Thanks.

It uses the cone filters, not the basket ones.

I don't have the exact model but a previous model and it uses standard #4 cone filters that you can buy anywhere.

I have one of the thermal ones. I think it may be deffective though, it never puts the coffee in the pot... just the counter. The coffee is good though, im drinking some as we speak.

The one they sent me was a Braun. Worth about $40-$50 at the time so for me it was a good deal....
