If you read the tech support forum, you know I had some serious problems with my internet yesterday. I was trying to see if I could get on in Linux (and I could), so I let my dad barrow my Knoppix cd so he could check his e-mail. My mom is a total computer n00b, but just discovered ebay and is obsessed. My dad must have left the computer booted in Linux, because later my mom goes down there hoping to check her ebay. She takes one look at the computer, and calls me, "It got worse! Our computer looks totally different now!" She was really flipping out. By the time I got down there she actually managed to get ebay started in Mozilla (we use FF as our browser and my mom has never even used IE). She was just a riot though, sitting there asking why everything had changed and she had to "re-learn how to use the computer."
