Anyone Know where to Buy Snowboard Gear Cheap?

Anyone know or have URL to buy quality Snowboards, Bindings, and Boots?

If the Site have to be seperated, then can you post link for each items??

I really need new Snowboard, binding, and boots for Man. and I use Size around 150-153cm for Snow board.

Only cheap Snowboard I found is from REI.com

Ride Control
Reduced Price: $199.99 Item 690279

Anyone know where I can get better snowboard for around 200-300? under 200 bucks would be better

And other good bindings and Boots

I am thinking to spend around 300 on Snowboard, 50-100 on binding and 50-150 on boots. So Total around 400-500.

Any Help would be GReat.

I am a skier so I really don't know as much as I should about boarding. I would find a few smaller stores (not REI) and call them and see what they reccommend. REI might be ok but I doubt you are going to get a real boarder on the phone to make suggestions.

Just like ski gear, price isn't everything, there are a bunch of really good boards from brands you might not have heard of before. I ski Line skis which is a pretty new brand but they make great sticks and you are not paying the $400 for the name on the top although Line is getting bigger pretty quickly.

The trick is finding out which companies are fly by night outfits and which ones are good but small companies.

snowBoard

Hey,

I got my snowboard and equipment at SkiMarket's Underground Snowboarding (www.skimarket.com). I have a Burton FL project 160 board, northwave boots and Drake F60 bindings. Boots and bindings together were around $250~$300. you should be able to pick up one of last years models for under $300 at any reputable snowboard shop (especially larger chains).

Happy hunting.

check out geardirect.com, and sierratradingpost.com -- the latter one especially has amazing deals on all kinds of sporting gear... as always, too, i would recommend ebay where you can get great deals on slightly used equipment

oh one more thing, don't buy some cheap shitty snowboard because of the $30 difference -- that $30 will make or break your enjoyment on the mountain. i'd highly recommend getting a used (or last year's model) great snowboard instead of a brand new moderately-ok one, for the same price.
